Our program is designed to stimulate, promote, and nurture a desire for learning in our children through a wide variety of activities including arts and crafts, socialization, and general learning. Our goal is to build knowledge, confidence, and aid in cultivating a hunger for education in our future leaders.

meet our founder
Hello, my name is Miss Terika! I am the mother of Three Kings, and my heart and passion is loving on and nurturing children. I am known to many as “Mother Goose” because I prefer to spend my time caring for children and if money were not a factor, I would have a football team! I am a graduate of Michigan State University where I studied Food Industry Marketing Management. I have spent the majority of my career working in Corporate America as a Regional Marketing Manager. I’ve recently decided to leave Corporate America to operate in my passion as it will give me the most gratification and fulfillment!
With that decision, I birthed my business, Future Scholars Daycare, and have hit the ground running with completing all the licensing requirements and certification designations to officially love on and nurture our future leaders.

We believe in a balanced approach to learning that encompasses the many different ways in which children learn: through play, child- directed activities, hands-on learning, and also by using traditional educational methods.
Our balanced approach is designed to meet each scholars social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. I am an advocate for breastfeeding and have over 10 years of experience. I also have many years of experience working with children and look forward to operating in my passion of loving and nurturing your scholars.
